Posts: 953 03/05/09 07:54:27	I was working on Iambic Pentameter and Shakespeare's Sonnets and it was so simple to just pull out my book with Shakespeare's Sonnets in it and SHOW the students, on the Doc.Cam I borrowed from the library earlier, the poems without having to write them on the board or on a transparency! They are absolutely incredible - I'm teaching in the moment and that's what counts! I REALLY want one to keep in my room for such situations!

The overhead projector is truly primative compared to this new innovative technology. It has all kinds of applications, empowering the students and teachers to share just about anything they'd like to an audience. Simply reading a picture book, is a new experience. You can get lost in the illustrations as they're projected on the screen. I want one to call my own!('')

Posts: 2 08/31/09 15:00:53	I too am hoping and wishing for a document camera to call my own!! right now we are asked to share one camera with four teachers!!! but sharing is almost impossible when we teach the same subjects (different grade levels though) at the same time!!

If you clicked "no" when you originally registered, you will need to resubmit the registration to sign up. If you left the "yes" button checked, you should already receive the newsletter.
