A document camera would be a great tool to use with our English Language learners. I am a first grade teacher and in my classroom I have 10 ELs and using a document camera to teach would allow them to follow along so much more easily. Els do very well when they can hear the word and match the picture or the word with the sounds that they are hearing. I think that I would be able to utilaize a document camera to really help these young learners.
Another way I would utilize this document camera is to help with my new GLAD training. I have been creating alot of posters to use in direct teaching and a document camera would allow me to have students see the images in color.
I would love to have a document camera in my classroom and I would love to be able to share this with my grade level teachers!
