Timesaving with a document camera

Posts: 4 09/06/08 18:20:26	Tags : None I have a smartboard and spend a lot of time making pages or scanning textbook examples for the class group. A document camera would allow much more effective use of my time if I could just project (and save) the selected pages for the class to work together on. It would be easy to differentiate instruction for smaller groups by choosing appropriate material to show and go!

Sometimes I think of something I'd like to show the class during the lesson, but I know I'd lose them during the time it would take to scan it into the SmartBoard or make a transparency. A DC would make for much more spontaneous teaching!

Posts: 42 07/31/10 20:29:12	The times when I teach spontaneously are sometimes the best because I am able to take something that a student has brought up and turn it into a teachable moment. A document camera would definitely enhance those spontaneous teachable moments.

Posts: 74 08/02/10 14:00:56	I do not have a scanner, therefore I have to make copies of anything I want to share with my students. We have a copy limit as well. So that limits me even more, as to what I can share with my students. I really really would like a Document Camera!
