Changing Colors in Aver+

Posts: 953 05/25/10 08:22:25	Tags : None Is it possible to change colors of the lines and shapes in Aver+ software ver 1.5. I see how it is done in AverVision3 but I haven't found out how to do it in Aver+. Also, in Aver+ can the timer be made to count back and sound an alarm when it reaches 0?

Posts: 953 05/25/10 09:38:17	Hello jmw.mathed, You can most certainly change line and shape colors in AVer+. Simply open the Property Panel which can be found in the "Window" drop down menu at the top. This will open a new menu in your AVer+ project where you can change the color and other properties of shapes, lines and text. The timer is located in the Special Tools section of the main AVer+ tool bar. I hope that helps!

Posts: 953 06/01/10 13:23:42	Three cheers - now one out of two problems have been solved thanks to Rebecca's response. I now can change pen width, color and transparency level using the Aver+ software. I did not realize that each tool had its own properties panel to help control its attributes. My recommendation for future versions would be to have the properties panel open with a right mouse click on the icon. I had already found the timer in the special tools. However, it seems to only work as a stopwatch and not count-down timer with an alarm when it winds down to "0". Or am I missing something again?

Posts: 15 06/03/10 13:50:00	Hi, You are correct about the clock/stopwatch. Those are the two features it currently supports. Depending on the model of the doc cam you have, however, there may be a countdown timer built in to your doc cam! On the main website (averusa.com/presentation) go to the Support tab, then Downloads, and look for your particular doc cam model. The user manual there will tell you if your model has a built-in timer, which will count down, although there won't be any sound. If your doc cam does have a timer function, you just go to the Menu button on the camera itself and access it from there. Set the length of time, then start, pause, and stop it. Hope this helps!
